Phi Mu members are eligible for 125 graduate and undergraduate scholarships awarded each academic year. Most scholarships are unrestricted, but some have been established for a particular chapter, field of study, state of residence or college. Only one application is required to be considered for all scholarships. Applications must be postmarked by March 1 each year to be considered for the following academic year.
The minimum requirement is a 3.0 grade point average. There are merit and financial need scholarships. Applicants are scored in several categories: academic, involvement (Phi Mu/campus/community), financial need, personal statements and recommendations.
