Super-Size Donations through Corporate Gift Matching

Have you ever wanted to give more to Phi MuFoundation but couldn’t find the extra cash in your budget? One of the easiest and most cost efficient methods of increasing your contributions is through a matching gifts program with your employer. The size of the donations and ratios employers are willing to match vary. Some offer a set ratio, while others set a maximum dollar amount.

Beth Reisinger, ??, has taken full advantage of her company’s matching gift program at Bank of America where she is the Vice President-Communications Manager for Global Markets Sales and Trading Technology. Her duties include all major reporting, special events, United Way fundraising, metrics and communications for the division.

In addition to gift-matching, Beth takes advantage of payroll deductions to make her contributions to Phi MuFoundation. She enjoys this method of payment because of the ease and convenience it provides her. “By utilizing payroll deductions, I don’t have to worry about sending my check in or remembering to make the donation; it is truly hassle-free,” she said.

Beth recently stepped up from Legacy League to membership in the 1852 Society. The decision to increase the size of her donation was an easy one. “It’s a joy to give back to Phi Mu because of all the wonderful things this sisterhood has done for me,” said Beth.

She enjoys membership in the annual giving programs and likes knowing that her financial contributions positively impact the growth and development of Phi Mu chapters across the country. Beth encourages others to join an annual giving program, if they are able. “Annual giving is a way to ensure that our Fraternity continues on as a strong, positive option for women wanting to enter the Greek community,” she said.

Payroll deductions and matching gifts make it easy for Beth to meet her 1852 Society goal. While her company gets the tax deduction for the matching gift, Beth receives the level of giving credit.
